Corrections and update log
Errors should be corrected visibly and proportionately. A material change to legal context, operator identity, payment rules or a verdict deserves a dated note.
No material corrections are recorded for this initial prototype release. Future entries should state what changed, why and when.
What to examine
Minor spelling and layout fixes may be made silently; changes that alter meaning are logged. Old claims are not retained merely because they once ranked in search.
Evidence that matters
Correction requests are checked against primary sources and the page’s evidence notes. Commercial pressure is not a basis for removing accurate criticism.
The risk to keep visible
An update date does not mean every external term was revalidated that day. The page should identify which material sources were checked.
A four-point check
- 01Log changes that alter meaning
- 02Cite the replacement evidence
- 03Preserve editorial independence
- 04Update affected internal links
Australian context comes first
ACMA states that online casinos and online pokies are prohibited interactive gambling services that providers must not offer to people in Australia. A foreign licence, Australian-themed landing page or accessible registration form does not turn an offshore casino into an Australian-authorised service. Before considering any product detail, verify the service type, legal operator and current regulator guidance.
